Vossloh confirms expected receipt of fine notice from the German Federal Cartel Office

Vossloh confirms that the German Federal Cartel Office has delivered the expected fine notice for anticompetitive agreements between the years 2001 to 2011 to the switch manufacturer Vossloh Laeis GmbH, Trier, a subsidiary of the Vossloh Group, yesterday. Provisions have been laid for the cartel proceeding within the scope of risk provisioning. Vossloh Laeis cooperated with the German Federal Cartel Office throughout the course of the proceedings. In calculating the fine this cooperation was taken into account. Vossloh is currently reviewing the fine notice, as well as considering possible further steps.

Since 2011 strict compliance guidelines are applied group-wide. These are ensured through the implementation of mandatory worldwide standards of conduct for all employees of the Vossloh Group, the establishment of organization for the monitoring of these standards, as well as the necessary training measures. Any misconduct is rigorously pursued within the context of the applicable rules and regulations.
